About Cosmo Group

The group's offshore holding and international coordination company

Cosmo International Holding is the offshore company through which the group runs its international trade, cross-border logistics, overseas partnerships and investments.

As the business grew from freight forwarding into importing, distribution, publication supply, warehousing, fulfilment and retail, more of the daily work started crossing borders. Holding that coordination in one company keeps the goods, the paperwork and the payments moving through a single point instead of four separate ones.

A shipment can be booked, cleared, stored, listed, picked and delivered without ever leaving the group. In Taiwan each of those steps is normally a different company.

The company the group started with. Fifty years of booking cargo means long relationships with airlines, shipping lines, airport warehouses and overseas agents — which is what you are really buying when a sailing is cancelled or a shipment is held at customs.

Brings overseas products into Taiwan and puts them on sale: Korean fashion magazines, publications from Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, idol merchandise and designer stationery. It also runs the Chinese-language desk that answers the consumers who buy them.

We export Taiwanese newspapers, magazines, academic journals and government publications to subscribers across Asia and to Chinese-language communities worldwide. In the other direction, we handle procurement tenders for foreign newspapers, books and journals on behalf of Taiwanese government bodies and university libraries.

  3. Receiving and storageCosmo Warehouse Inspected, registered, put away and counted at the Cosmo Logistics Centre.

You do not have to take all six. Brands that already have a distributor here often use us only for warehousing and fulfilment; others use us only for shipping and customs.

Cosmo Distributor and Suruga-ya of Japan set up Surugaya Taiwan in 2024. Suruga-ya supplies the products; the group imports, clears, stores, distributes and ships them, and runs the shop.

The brand has no office in Taiwan. Importing, import inspection, warehousing, third-party logistics, online store operations and the Chinese-language service desk all sit inside the group.

Hong Kong　·　Consolidation and ocean freight

Hong Kong bookstore chains

Three chains buy from Taiwanese publishers. We consolidate and prepare their orders here, then ship directly to their stores by sea — so they need neither a warehouse in Taiwan nor separate freight contracts.

Malaysia　·　Consolidation and ocean freight

Malaysian bookstore chain

Goods bought in Taiwan are consolidated, checked and packed at our facility, then shipped by sea straight to Port Klang. Purchasing, consolidation and export clearance all connect in one place.

We do not publish our customers' names. When we talk, we are happy to walk you through specific cases and to put you in touch with a reference.
